Stadium Masters Swimming Club is one of the many community sporting groups who call HBF Stadium home. Following every training session the group gathers over a cup of coffee. Recently this gathering took on special significance when not one but four members celebrated their 90th birthdays.

Reaching this birthday milestone is an amazing achievement but for four members of the same sporting group to be celebrating together is quite remarkable.

June, Zee, John and Hazel all attribute their health to just one secret - keep on swimming!

These 90th birthdays also fall in the 25th year of the club, with three original members still actively involved and swimming regularly.

Since 1992, Stadium Masters have held multiple training sessions in the heated pools of HBF Stadium every week. The club is also a proud supporter of various charities throughout Perth. At their charity swim-a-thon Stadium Masters raised an impressive $3,000 for the Australian Alzheimer's Research Foundation thanks to the efforts of 13 swimmers who together swam more than 28km. The swim was proudly supported by HBF Stadium.

Anyone over 18 years of age and able to swim 50m freestyle comfortably is welcome to join Stadium Masters, more info can be found on their website.
