Car park works

Update 4 October 

Works to the main car park are very close to completion! At 9.30am on Friday 6 October the main car park will re-open following extensive works. Signage will be in place to help you access the car park and find a park. We hope you enjoy our new safer and more effective car park.  

Please note the bus stop will remain in its temporary position near WA Athletics Stadium until further notice. 

Update 24 August

The first stage of the car park works are now complete.

The new and improved drop off zone is now open and is located near Montessori Daycare. Turn left at the roundabout when entering off Stephenson Ave. Please take note of signage and traffic management as some areas are now one-way traffic only. 

Works are continuing in the main car park, once again please take note of directional signage as there are also changes to traffic flow in this car park.

On Monday 7 August we will commence works to increase safety and improve traffic flow in car park 3 at HBF Stadium (the main car park).

The works will take approximately 9 weeks, finishing in mid-October. We envisage any impact on your visit to be minimal.

The drop off zone will be blocked off during these works, with customers encouraged to use normal car bays in car park 3 or car park 4.

Only half of the main car park will be closed at any one time, with plenty of parking still available across all other car parks.

ALL traffic will need to exit via McGillivray Rd (at the rear of the venue) onto Brockway Rd.

The very first stage of these works is the temporary relocation of the bus stop to car park 1 (near the WA Athletics Stadium) from Friday 4 August. Buses will enter through the main entry as normal then turn left into car park 1. After dropping off and picking up travellers buses will continue past WA Athletics Stadium on Herb Elliott Drive then return onto Underwood Ave via the Bendat Basketball Centre/WA Rugby Centre entry.

Please note that for the duration of the works Herb Elliott Drive will be one way only, with traffic running west to east. Directional signage will be in place.

Please follow the traffic management signage that will be in place throughout the works and allow a little extra time to park.
