Three VenuesWest venues have been recognised as being among Australia’s best in the 2024 Austadiums Awards

Three VenuesWest venues have been recognised as being among Australia’s best in the 2024 Austadiums Awards, claiming four of a possible six awards.

Optus Stadium was voted Australia’s best for the fifth consecutive year, while also taking out the Best Oval Stadium award.

RAC Arena was recognised for the second consecutive year as the Best Indoor Arena and HBF Park was again voted the Best Rectangular Stadium.

The awards come after another blockbuster year for the three venues.

As well as hosting AFL and BBL games as the home of the Fremantle Dockers, West Coast Eagles and Perth Scorchers, Optus Stadium also wowed fans hosting a range of events from WWE Elimination Chamber, AS Roma v AC Milan, P!nk’s Summer Carnival, The West Test and Wallabies v Springboks.

RAC Arena hosted blockbuster events including blink-182, Matchbox 20, UFC 305, Lomachenko v Kambosos IBF Lightweight Title, Telethon and home games for the Wildcats and Fever.

HBF Park showed its versatility with a range of events from the HSBC SVNS, the FIM World Supercross doubleheader, Dolphins v Roosters NRL, Australia v Palestine FIFA World Cup qualifier, the Perth International Football Cup as well as being the home of the Perth Glory and Western Force.

In other awards, Geelong’s GMHBA Stadium was voted as Australia’s Best Regional Stadium and the Most Picturesque Stadium category was taken out by the Adelaide Oval.
